The Basics of the Bible

When someone is learning something new, the teacher always puts the student at the basics, and tells the student to master them...  Well guess what, when training up yourself as a Christian you have some basics that should be mastered as well, and they should be established before rushing into the harder teachings of the bible.  If you never get anything else, at least know these things:
A. What is the Bible?  While undoubtedly written by man, The Bible is the literal revelation of God's Word via the Holy Spirit unto man *Read: 1st Corinthians 2:7-14*
B. What Is God?  He is 1 God, Divine in every way, and he exsists seperately in 3 divine characters, you know them as 1. God The Father 2.  God the Son 3. God the Holy Spirit.  *Read the following: Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14*
C. What is Man?  Man was originally created in the image of God, and that originally man was created free of sin, and with free thought as well as a rationale character, which leads me to believe we won't be robots in heaven :)  And that God's intention, even now, in creating man was to glorify God, and enjoy his fellowship with the Holy Spirit  *Read:  Isaiah 43:7, Colossioans 1:16*
D.  The Big Question how are we saved?  Only one way into Heaven if your a Christian and absolutely not by your works, but by the Grace of God and merit of HIS OWN SHED BLOOD on the cross.  *Read these in order: Ephesians 1:4-7, 1st Peter 1:18,19, and John 1:12*
Those are your basics troops, get to reading since the bible you might have in front of you is alive.  It is God's Holy Revelation, and it should be read with great care!  Let me try to make something clear, you can't read it right :)  You absolutely need the Holy Spirit, and accurate acute censorship of what each individual scripture is trying to say.  If God is divine in intelligence, and perfect in moral teaching, then how can us as a fallen creature understand much of anything it is trying to say?  Not that you can't get anything out of the bible on your own, but don't ever interpret it YOUR OWN WAY, that's a road the devil can attack you on believe it or not.  When you can't read it right, don't worry, no one else can either :) Pray diligently and still stick your nose in the book and the Spirit, if your prayer is from the heart, will get you the answer you need.  God wants a relationship with you, he more than proved that throughout our book, why don't more of us read his Holy Word more often....  That I don't get, don't expect to grow much if you don't read from it often, and meditate on it.  Peace and God Bless my brothers :)
